Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has revised his goal for WhatsApp. Having previously said the messaging service should aim to reach 1 billion users, he is now aiming for at least double that number. “I think WhatsApp is going to be the global text messaging platform,” Zuckerberg said at an event in Mexico City, according to Bloomberg. “I think we’re going to have an opportunity for WhatsApp to connect 2 or 3 billion people.” Less than two weeks ago, WhatsApp passed 600 million monthly active users.
