Instagram is releasing an update to its Hyperlapse app for iOS that will let you create timelapse videos using your front-facing camera. We’re not seeing the update on the App Store just yet, but it should arrive sometime today. You won’t be able to switch cameras in the middle of recording, so you’ll have to decide beforehand whether you want switch to selfie mode. Instagram released Hyperlapse in late August, offering an easy way to creation moving timelapses.
