Facebook changes the only unique Slingshot feature: You can now send unlocked photos and videos

Facebook today updated its Slingshot app for Android and iOS, changing the only feature that makes the app unique. When you receive a photo or video, you may not be required to send something back to see the content. Senders can now choose whether they want you to send them a shot in return to unlock their photo or video. In addition to the usual bug fixes, the changelog states “Sling a shot to see a shot? Not necessarily! After shooting a photo or video, now you can choose whether to sling it as a locked or unlocked shot.” Following...
