Current and former employees sue Sony over hacked data

As if Sony didn’t already have enough on its plate with hackers issuing terrorist threats to theaters set to screen its latest film, the company is now facing a class action lawsuit brought to courts by former employees whose personal information has been made public, reports GigaOm. The suit was filed on Monday in a Los Angeles federal court and seeks compensation for more than 15,000 current and former Sony Pictures employees whose names, addresses and social security numbers have been leaked by hackers.
