Microsoft treats Build 2014 attendees to an Xbox One and a $500 Microsoft Store gift card

At its Build 2014 conference today, Microsoft announced that developers will be receiving an Xbox One and a $500 Microsoft Store gift card. Terry Myerson, Microsoft’s EVP of Operating Systems Group, announced both to huge applause from developers. Choosing the Xbox One over the Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2 fits into the company’s story of convincing developers to target multiple platforms with its apps.
