Twitter goes down with generic ‘Something is technically wrong’ error

Twitter just went down out of the blue. Multiple TNW staff were logged out and weren’t allowed to log back into the site.

Twitter pages are now showing a generic ‘Something is technically wrong’ error:

We have contacted Twitter about this issue. We will update this article when we learn more.
