Mobile dating app Tinder will introduce verified accounts for lovelorn celebrities

It’s quite possibly the perfect example of the ‘first world problems‘ meme. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Tinder CEO Sean Rad revealed the mobile dating app would soon be updated with a verification program. Why? Apparently, celebrities are being shot down on the service because most of its users simply assume their accounts are fake. While Tinder requires new users to prove their identity with a Facebook account, it’s ineffective when celebrities are using Zuckerberg’s social network under a fake name. “This will allow celebrities to enter Tinder in a different way,” Rad said.
