The WSJ is gearing up to release a paid news digest app this summer
The Wall Street Journal is reportedly gearing up to release its own digest-style news app, according to Capital. The app will be called What’s News, after the news briefs column that adorns the paper’s front page. It will be a paid app and is designed to build up subscriber loyalty for The WSJ. All of the content will be curated by the paper’s journalists and will offer a breakdown of important daily news stories.
