Microsoft today extended the deadline for Windows 8.1 users to keep receiving security updates. The Windows 8.1 Update requirement has been moved up by about a month, from May 12 to June 10. Both days coincided with the day before their respective months’ Patch Tuesdays. Microsoft that while users with Automatic Update turned on in Windows Update have been receiving the Windows 8.1 Update over the last few weeks, many still haven’t received the update.
