Facebook to give Page owners new video analytics, including unique views and audience retention

Facebook announced a number of new video metrics today that will allow brands and advertisers to better understand how their clips are performing on the social network. Before now, Facebook Page owners have only been able to see the number of people who begin watching their videos. In the future, they’ll be able to see the total number of views – which only counts after three seconds – and the total number of unique viewers. As a true measure of success, Facebook will also show the same figures for viewers that watched at least 95 percent of the clip. These...
