Gmail fights spam with new Postmaster Tools for companies and machine learning improvements

Limiting spam is a crucial part of any email system, but unfortunately that sometimes means legitimate messages become lost in the fray. Google wants to make it easier for companies to avoid having their messages marked as spam with its new Postmaster Tools for Gmail. The tool allows ‘qualified’ high-volume senders to analyze their mass emails to find out which messages are being sent to spam and what sort reputation they have with recipients, as get some insight on delivery errors and feedback loops. Google says this will allow them to check on any mistakes and learn more about best emailing…
