LG announced that it’s launching the Minibeam Nano, the company’s smallest and lightest projector yet. With its diminutive dimensions of 10 cm x 10 cm, the device is about the size of a typical wallet.
The Minibeam Nano can wirelessly connect to your smartphone to stream videos, movies and office documents. It also supports HDMI inputs and USB flash drives and offers up to two hours of playback time on a single battery charge.
Despite its tiny footprint, the Minibeam Nano can project an image up to 100 inches diagonally with a native resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. LG says its LED lamp will last 30,000 hours.
The device will be available starting this month across North America, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
LG hasn’t yet announced pricing for the Minibeam Nano.
