eBay will soon let you follow Sotheby’s live auctions through video

Sotheby’s, meet eBay. eBay, meet Sotheby’s. You two have a lot in common. So much, in fact, that the two brands are hooking up for a joint initiative this year that will see Sotheby’s live-auctions streamed through eBay for anyone to participate. Sotheby’s will offer a “mid-priced inventory,” so you won’t likely be seeing any Picassos on here, but it will feature “enhanced functionality” that draws on the stories behind the items on sale.
