Microsoft’s monthly Games with Gold promotion has arrived on Xbox One

Microsoft today launched its Games with Gold promotion for the Xbox One, offering Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault for free to Xbox Live Gold members. Deals with Gold is also live with a 50 percent discount for Crimson Dragon. Games with Gold on Xbox One has a big difference from the Xbox 360 version, though. If you let your Xbox Live membership lapse on Xbox One, you’ll lose access to the free games until you sign back up.
