Infographics platform buys infographics blog Visualoop to promote awareness of… infographics


While many startups pay close attention to their own blogs in the name of ‘content marketing’, you don’t often hear about many actually acquiring a blog. That’s what’s happened in the case of, however. The creator of the popular infographic-creation platform has bought Visualoop, a Brazil-based blog covering the data visualization scene. The unusual move won’t see the blog become one giant ad for, however – Visualoop will maintain editorial independence.
