BitTorrent launches new Maelstrom browser with a view to changing the way the Web works


A new browser from BitTorrent hopes to change the way the web works and bring a more distributed internet than ever before. The browser, dubbed “Project Maelstrom,” is in invite-only alpha right now and uses peer-to-peer technology to make the internet more open by giving the control back to users, not just large corporations.
