Apple reportedly threatens legal action if AltConf event streams WWDC keynote

Apple Hosts Its Worldwide Developers Conference
According to popular developer’s conference AltConf, Apple has threatened legal action if event organizers broadcast the WWDC 2015 keynote. Apple’s legal team sent AltConf a letter, reportedly stating “Apple exercises control over not only the content of its messaging, but also the manner in which those messages are packaged, distributed and delivered.” If AltConf were to show the keynote at its event, it could “strip Apple of exclusive control over one of the most anticipated events of the year, and could deprive Apple of potential revenue generated from its exclusive rights.” The letter from Apple’s legal team also bans AltConf from showing…
