50 Shades spinoff ‘Grey’ is so embarrassing no one has publicly highlighted it on Kindle

It’s five days since E.L. James released ‘Grey’, the ’50 Shades of Grey’ spinoff told from the perspective of the preposterously priapic Christian Grey.

While it’s already received a staggering amount of reviews on Amazon and hit the #1 spot, there’s a curious absence of Kindle highlights.

The original trilogy has Kindle users flagging up their favorite romantic moments or just pointing and laughing at the most preposterous bits, but ‘Grey’ has so far been met with silence.

It seems a book where the main character talks about his penis as if it were an independent entity somehow fused to his body (“My cock agrees and stiffens in greeting…”) is too much even for famously open-minded ebook readers.
