Google expands Android app ads to publisher websites, now allows video ads

Google is today expanding its Android app install ads on the AdMob network to allow even further reach with a single click. Starting today, the company is allowing advertisers to show ads to 2 million websites utilizing Google Display Network ads. All advertisers need to do is enable an option called “targeting optimization” which automatically expands your ad. According to the company, early testers saw install volume rise by 28 percent on average thanks to the increased reach. It’s also expanding the ads further to allow video app promo ads, which can be shown in-app to Android and iOS users…
