Twitter and Wikipedia are well known global entities on the Web, and as such the two brands have announced a co-organized hackathon with a strict focus on localization and internationalization. The event is taking place at Twitter’s San Francisco HQ on November 1, and will delve into: Localization infrastructure Community driven translation UI/UX Complex language and scripts Input methods Web fonts Twitter also says that a series of quick-fire talks and hands-on sessions are taking place, while the best hacks will receive prizes.
