Google Search for Android gets global app indexing, content is no longer limited to just English

Google today released an important update that ensures app indexing in Google Search for Android works for all content, not just English. The company has also translated its developer guidelines into eight additional languages: Chinese (Traditional), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. We contacted Google to ask if app indexing now works in these languages, or what exactly “more languages” refers to, since the company’s announcement isn’t clear.
