Google today announced it has completed the rollout of the new AdMob to over 200 countries and as such the Google Play store will stop accepting apps using the legacy SDK on August 1, 2014. The company will sunset legacy AdMob on August 31, 2014. Google says the following will occur on September 1 as a result of the sunset: Ads will stop serving to legacy ad units.
